for any season. Check out the pictures below and laugh along with us. We're having
fun with these and you will never know just what your birdhouse will look like until it
arrives. The pictures are representative of what you will receive. Naturally, since these
are unique creations no two birdhouses are the same and no two will ever be decorated the same.
The birdhouses you see below are our fall theme. We're planning spring, summer, winter,
Christmas, Easter and others. Have a theme you'd like to see represented? Send us an e-mail

Don't forget, these wooden birdhouses, made by hand, make great in-house decorations,
wedding table decorations, corporate gift giveaways, almost any occasion. If you're

Fall is almost here and the 2010 nesting season is done in most of the country. Now is the time
to look at your existing birdhouses and see if they need replacing. Now is also the time to order new birdhouses and get them up while the weather is nice.
This allows you to get them in place and ready for the earliest arrivals in the spring. Putting them up in the spring may be too late for some early arriving birds.
At Wolf Mountain Birdhouses we have been busy getting ready to support your birding needs. We have listened to you when you told us our natural birdhouses were, well, too plain.
Some of you also told us the completely natural birdhosues weathered too quickly. We listened. We looked for natural preservatives that wouldn't hurt birds but would keep your wooden birdhouses looking good longer and ways to make them less plain. We have what you want. Take a look below at some samples of what you can now order. Yes, they are still built by hand for specific birds but you now have the option of completely natural, preserved with linseed oil (no turpentine), preserved with amber shellac and polyurethane. These make for some beautiful birdhouses and the finishes are still all natural.
In order to protect your birds the inside of the birdhouse still remains all natural giving you and your birds the best of both worlds.

Wolf Mountain Birdhouses are designed to be a natural nesting environment and provide what birds are looking for:
- Protection from predators
- Adequate space for a nest
- Natural camouflage
- Perfectly size entry to the home for their species
- Perfectly positioned hole above nesting floor so chicks can exit when the time is right
We believe generic bird houses are detrimental to some bird populations. If a birdhouse is generic it can be used by many species of birds and this can lead to predation by the aggressive House Sparrow. If you shop carefully you can buy houses
that are designed for specific species of birds. That's what we do here at Wolf Mountain Birdhouses. It is true that you cannot stop all predation but a birdhouse designed for smaller birds can cut down on the frequency of predation by larger birds and also discourage House Sparrows by preventing them from even entering the birdhouse, something a generic birdhouse is not capable of.

Cancer Awareness
Wolf Mountain Birdhouses is donating 10% of all birdhouse sales to the Susan G.
Komen organization in support of Cancer Awareness. Wolf Mountain Birdhouses is particularly interested in the
fight againt cancer because our executive admin is a 10 year cancer survivor. This donation is in memory of
all those who have lost the fight against cancer and for those who are currently fighting and for those, like
our admin, who are survivors.

We listened to our customers and have added options for protection of your Wolf Mountain Birdhouse. We now offer Linseed Oil protection, Shellac protection and Lacquer protection. All of these are natural wood preservatives and add beauty to the wood. They also help it stand up to the elements.
